Alice's Key

First-does this look like a key? I thought it reasonably clear then the first coment I got was 'oh, is that what it's supposed to be' Very disheartening.

I love the fancy wire keys I see on here sometimes, but decided I wanted to a) start simple and b) try for a key for that theoretical Alice costume I'm always toying with making. In the book the key is just described as small and golden, so I used twisted brass for the form and gold coated copper for the sine detail wire. It needed something but the gold beads I had just struck me as bulky, so moonstone and pearl instead.

It may not be the key to Wonderland, but I bet if you find the door it fits it that it will lead somewhere magical!

This guy was kind of fun, so I think it might be one of those make a bunch to sell at a lower price point at craft shows thing. I was watching old doctor who episodes while working on this so don't really know how long it took I'm thinking all the keys will be $20+shipping unless I get into precious metals.
