Coated copper, glass, pearl, my own little watercolor.
Disclaimer- I just like playing with fossils, and started making atcs with critters inspired by them. By all means, please help me figure what the evidence says these guys looked like, but please don't get offended by my playing.
Had scraps of watercolor paper left over from my attempts to take up watercolors on the idea that it'd be easier on my joints. I never had luck photographing them, so I've never put any up.
You can see why. My photo of the watercolor isn't improved by it being set behind glass. (On the plus side, the moab desert varnish someone pointed me towards was pricey, but did a pretty good job waterproofing the watercolors so that I could use the sealant to seal it to the glass!)
I'm annoyed that I can't get the crystal burst effect in the green to show up properly in pictures. Or the depth. I was kind of pleased by the effect the domed glass had on the paintings. It made them look a little like creatures in an aquarium.
This guy is in theory up for sale. (As my family pointed out the number of people interested in cameos of extinct cephalopods is probably limited to me....) But note me if it suits you
