Artist's Comments

Last of the blues for awhile. Really. I think.

Sterling silver, Rainbow moonstone, Sapphire. And Lapis. Can't forget the lapis :)

:boogie: up on ETSY now. [link]

It's a bit of an oddly shaped moonstone with one black line across the lower corner. But it puts the rainbow in rainbow moonstone so was a must have. It has the usual blue, plus green and gold and hints of orange and even a bit of pink. Kind of like reflecting the sunrise. (Or light pollution coloring the moon, but that's a bit less poetic...) And since it was a decent sized piece and I love my vines I added the carved sapphires again with higher grade lapis beads for berries. As said, unusual shape, but stunning colors. And I'm pleased with the sproingy bit at the end of the vine. Easily amused, that's me after all!

(My inner geek wanted to call this something with woman wept or hoth, but I think that's more from watching too much tv than any particular innate alieness of my work. Not quite exotic enough for that yet ;) )

ooh, and matching earrings, also on etsy and in my scraps at [link]

I know they always publish those color charts of what's predicted to be popular the next season - I find that very random...
