Alrighty, mix of argentium and sterling, so the clasp will still need the occasional polish, as well as the wire connecting stones to byzantine. But at least the hardest bit to polish won't tarnish :)

Last bead show was a bit of a bust, but I was excited to find a strand of spectrolite, which I hadn't actually found in beads before. It's finnish labradorite, the base tends more towards a dark blue and the flashes of color are pretty brilliant. Lots of gold/green/blue bordering on purple. (I'm kind of regretting only getting one strand of these. Even though I haven't sold any yet, I'm already debating calling the guy to try to order more...Thus far I've resisted.)

I had a lot of fun with this style, and made waaay too many. I'm not big on irregular shaped beads, and the byzantine struck me as a great way to show off oddly shaped beads.

I just finished a Byzantine silver chain about an hour ago when the customer told me the type of clasp she wanted. Weird.

These are beautiful.

Well, you've got to have matching earrings, right?
