Another piece for the
I'm still on borrowed computer, so as with my previous piece, let me know if this picture strikes you as too light or too dark. Thanks. And I need someone to shoot me in the foot if I contemplate buying briolettes that small again. I think I broke about every other one, even using 26 ga dead soft :/ But they shimmered so beautifully... Ah impulse buys. If anyone has tips on making flower shapes in wirework, please please please! This is a first attempt, and I could use the pointers. So, boulder opal (a lot more ironstone than opal though!) base with moonstone flowers, tourmelated quartzs leaves, and peridot berries. Wire is 14K gold filled, chain is 12K gold filled. About 20", due to the shape of the chain it's essentially infinitely adjustible. CommentsThat is really quite lovely, I love the light beads against the dark gem. Really nicely done.
