Tiny Ammonite Earringsby *magpie-poet

edit- someone bought one of these, so I've a tiny ammonite available either as a single earring or delicate pendant

14K gold fill and an ammonite pair. Well, one ammonite split. In January I stumbled onto a place that had some small ammonites in pairs. A bit smaller than I was hoping, but couldn't resist them and got too many...

These were really figity and slippy to make. I'm still trying to figure out the best style for ammonite earrings! These ammonites were a nice rich sort of honey brown, so I had to do them in gold and something a little more gentle in style.

The earrings are 1 5/8" from the top of the hooks, and are each about 5/8" at their widest.
