Where to find me
It's been so long since I've swung by I confused updates with entries, so I'll appoligize for duplicating if it ends up as inbox spam!
I'm not big on social media, but you'll still find me popping up more on fb @magpiesmiscellanyjewelry, tumblr magpiesmiscellany (https://www.deviantart.com/magpiesmiscellany), and magpies (https://www.deviantart.com/magpies)_miscellany on instagram than here on dA.
My etsy shop is still magpiesmiscellany.etsy.com. Likewise my (also in need of an update) blog is still magpiesmiscellany.wordpress.com
I haunt pinterest sort of like I haunt here, though I do pin a further assorted miscellany of stuff :) I'm @magpiesmisc over there.

I don't have a soldering setup, so I
Ribbon and Software Search

Well, I found one spool of 1 1/2" pale yellow to white in clearance. Which I bought out of principle despite wanting deeper yellow or purple and 3/4" width... Any affordable sources you guys would suggest?
My other, more costly search. I really need to learn office2010 properly to have something to give my resume some edge. But the program is really freaking expensive. (And I'm always a bit suspicious of the download only that you can get online, for that much money I'd like a guarantee th

That was happening to me when I tried to take photos of my little mineral specimens! I just learned about diffuser panels, which are lightweight, white, handheld panels you hold between the sun and your subject. It works great! Diffuser panels are cheap from Amazon, etc. Or try shooting when it's cloudy/overcast.
