Description
For the and ocean and shell contest.
Brown and rainbow colored ammonite fossil wrapped in brass and copper with a garnet eye. (I know the copper is awfully pink, don't worry, it'll tarnish back to a rich brown soon enough!)
My first attempt at trying to get some of the critter feel to an ammonite pendant. I would *love* some tips on how to wire wrap tentacles! And a beak, how to do a beak with wire would be good too I was worried it looks more elder god than ancient sea creature, hence the title.
If it floats your boat, yes, this is looking for a new home. $55 (+ shipping for outside USA) You can note me or visit [link] for this and some of my other ammonite pieces.
Sorry, I *will* get better photos. But they're forcasting rain for the next week, so it might be awhile.
*edit* A quick break in the clouds, so tried to get more true to color photos. Still working on it. Another view [link] and original collage [link] more attempts on etsy [link]

This is a really cool idea. Love it! I think you captured the "critter" feel very well ^.^
